Salt & Fresh Boat Hike/Tour

Rating: 3 (Fair) – Hike to Paria Waterfall

Maximum hikers: 16 (Sixteen)
Meeting point: The Look-Out, North Coast Road

Time: 6:00am SHARP
Cost: $250TTD  per hiker & $25 parking fee

• From the Look-Out, we drive as a convoy to Blanchisseuse

• Life jackets are handed out to everyone

• We board the waiting pirogues at the jetty

• First stop: Secluded Senna Bay (SALT).

  • We spend 1.5 hours here

• Second stop: Paria Bay (FRESH).

  • A fair 25 minute hike to the hidden falls

• Take the boat back to Blanchisseuse

• We board our waiting chartered bus at Mount Hope

• We drive up to Arima and over the Northern Range to Blanchisseuse

• Historical and general information will be shared all along the way

• Stop off at the Spring Bridge for lunch and refreshments

• General info along the North Coast all the way back to Mount Hope

100 Steps & Fort Abercrombie

 Saturday 16th July 

Rating: 2 (Easy)

Maximum hikers: 15 (Fifteen)
Meeting point: The Look-Out, North Coast Road

Time: 6:00am SHARP
Cost: $100TTD  per hiker; $75TTD - Kids 8 to 12 years

• We take a 20 minute walk from the parked vehicles to the popular beach

• Enjoy great bathing/swimming at this beach. We stay here for 1.5 hours

• Fort Abercrombie is the ideal place for our picnic and sight seeing

• Pending on the tide on the day, great swimming at this location as well

• Beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and the Northern Range

Madamas River via Grand Tacarib Bay

 Saturday 30th July 

Rating: 5 (Moderately Challenging)
Maximum hikers: 16 (Sixteen)
Meeting point: The Look-Out, North Coast Road

Time: 6:00am SHARP
Cost: $300TTD  per hiker & $25 parking fee

• From the Look-Out, we drive as a convoy to Blanchisseuse

• Life jackets are handed out to everyone

• We board the waiting pirogues at the jetty

• Boat departs to Grand Tacarib Bay.

  • We hike for 1 hour to Madamas River/Bay

• Enjoy great atmosphere at Madamas.

  • We hike the same route back to the boat

Columbus Beach Walk

 Saturday 06th August

Meeting point: Eric Williams Hospital, Mount Hope

Time: 6:00am SHARP
Cost: $100TTD  per hiker; $75TTD - Kids 8 to 12 years

• We drive as a convoy all the way to Fullerton Village in Cedros

• We park at Columbus Bay and enjoy great beach walking for 1.5 miles

• We eventually reach to the south-western tip of Trinidad, Icacos Point

• We trek back at Columbus Bay and enjoy great sea bathing here

Walking in Paramin

 Sunday 07th August & Saturday 20th August 

Rating: 6 (Challenging). This rating all depends on your personal fitness condition

Maximum hikers: 15 (Fifteen)
Meeting point: Eric Williams Hospital

Time: 6:00am SHARP
Cost: $250TTD  per hiker

• We board our waiting chartered bus and proceed to North Deck

• At North Deck, we walk along the Fond Pois Road up to the Look-Out

• From the Look-Out, we walk through Paramin Village, including a visit to the well-known Paramin cave

  • We meet our bus at the bottom of Paramin and we break for lunch & refreshment

• We depart Paramin back to Mount Hope
