We head to the popular beach where many southerners of Trinidad goes to enjoy the best of the Gulf of Paria. From the entrance of the Columbus Bay, beautiful vistas of "Los Galos Rocks" can be seen for the ideal start of our beach walk.
Very easy beach walking all along the coastline. Whilst walking, pending on the tide, once it is a low tide, the water will be very inviting and you can take advantage of the green waters for that bit of swimming and a soak before proceeding along. Endless coconut trees line the shoreline to add to the splendor of the rugged coastline.
As we come to the end of the coastline walk, scenes of the once upon a time ruins of beach houses that used to be along the seashore, but taken away by the seas of nature. At this point, we are between the Gulf of Paria and the Columbus Channel and we can take the opportunity and enjoy the best of the two worlds.
